Bushguru designed the unique Base trailer for small group excursions, safari operators, or even large families. The design thinking was to provide a solution to safari operators that can be quickly and easily deployed and just as quickly packed up, allowing the operator to work with smaller teams and offer more mobile safari options.
The trailer consists of four rooms that can take two stretchers each. Utilities include a large bathroom with a hot water shower and a large kitchen drawer with a fridge and cooler.
Bushguru offers various options, including wet or dry leases, partnerships, licensing, or outright purchases. We sell the trailer on demand but plan volume construction once the prototype creates traction. Reach out to us for options and prices.
Trailer Specifications
- Double axle offroad trailer registered as Bushguru on Natis.
- The trailer weights dry around 1200kg TBC.
- Fully equipped bush kitchen for eight pax with gas stove.
- One 70l National Luna fridge and a 100l Buddy Cool, which keep drinks cold for up to 5 days.
- Large shower with a view and hot water geyser.
- 3 x 100l water tanks dedicate 1 for drinking water.
- This unit has a 3kW Inverter and 3×200 amp hour lithium batteries but can be configured per your request.
- Shore power inlet and two solar power connectors.
- Two 3l gas bottles.
- Full-length roof rack and storage compartment above the kitchen.
- Four double-room tents are 162cm wide, 300cm long, and 220cm high. The tents are fitted to the lids for quick deployment and storage.
- Each room has 12V and 220V power plus dual color lights.
- Two spare wheels mounted in a center compartment, or opt for one spare and use the other side for wood storage.

Bushguru Bundu Bag
Leave nothing behind with the multi-purpose Bundu Bag. Ideal for carrying wood, rubbish, and even bulky bedding. It was tested over 1000’s kilometers with no effect on performance. It can also be fitted on cattle rails on the back of a bakkie or behind.
The Bundu bag creates a bow wave on water crossings and can double as a grass net.
Two versions are available, a meshed and a closed version—no more torn rubbish bags or wood bags damaging kit in the back. Wood is within easy reach and helps keep traction on the front wheels.
